aleksandar. have been appointed to manage a recruitment process on behalf of a leading professional services firm in Jakarta with international operations across Asia Pacific. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established market leader looking to build out a new tax technology project team that will be empowered to commence an exciting journey which will involve providing cutting edge technology solutions to leading multinational organisations, optimising and ensuring further efficiencies within their in-house tax functions.

The main focus of the role will be to partner with the firm’s clients to gather information and analyse business processes to understand where value could be added around improving internal systems and supply chains. The position sits within a newly created team working under an experienced Tax Solutions Architect who can provide exceptional training, development and networking opportunities.
- Review and identify end client tax and business requirements to build an optimal SAP/ERP Tax design.
- Review and identify possible supplementary options with the right mix of alternative tax technology solutions.
- Assess key tax touch-points across end-to-end business processes whilst managing various client projects.
- Oversee the project delivery team in designing, building and integrating tax requirements and processes into SAP/ERP systems architecture (or wider tax technology solutions) to meet client’s requirements.
- Assess business impacts of technical choices made and communicate these impacts on a regular basis.
- Ensure that the project team is identifying and capturing issues on the project as and when they arise.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with key client and internal stakeholders and keep them informed of any challenges, risks or issues with technical solutions.
- Respond to requests for proposals from prospective clients.
- Maintain process documentation while continually improving internal and client processes.
- Provide regular updates to the project team on how the project is running against projected scope, timeframes and budget etc.
- Manage and work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised and celebrated for their contribution.

**Requirements**:

- Strong experience undertaking tax compliance and tax advisory work.
- Previous tax process, technology and/or data experience.
- Efficient communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisation and leadership skills.
- Strong desire to learn new skills and technology.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience working with a variety of people within a dynamic, fast changing environment as part of a multi-functional team/project.
- Excellent project management skills, able to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy in work and attention to detail.

**Skill set**:
Strong record of undertaking tax compliance and/ or tax advisory work. Previous tax process, technology or data experience.
