The Senior Wedding Sales Manager to develop market segment(s) assigned and solicit new business and accounts while maintaining existing relationships with current accounts. Consistently striving to maximize revenue and promote relationships through effective negotiation and upsell of meeting space rentals, packages prices as well as food and beverage services. This position is accountable for booking corporate meetings and/or weddings and social events, including handling group business during stay in the property

**What will I be doing?**

As the Senior Wedding Sales Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Selling all banquet facilities of the hotel in specific, and selling of overall hotel facilities in general
- Work closely with Catering & Events Team Members in securing new/potential business and accounts
- Maintain relationships on all accounts and solicit new business in the assigned segment
- Submit specific strategy on the assigned segment according to each unique needs to be able to gain the commitment of support
- Submit weekly sales activity plan; sales calls, telesales and/or site inspections and submit reports in the following week
- Entertainment of clients with recognized potential, particularly in the assigned segment
- Represent the hotel and brand through projecting a professional appearance, conduct and integrity
- Coordinate account management and reports with other Catering & Events Team Members for the Assistant Director of Catering & Events
- Prepares banquet quotations and event orders
- Attend daily, weekly and monthly meeting to support business operations.
- Conduct site inspections and property tours with potential customer, visiting guest rooms, meeting space and banquet facilities and any other hotel facilities.
- Keeps a record on former, existing, potential clients and a profile of each of them.
- Up to date with changes and new information on the competitor
- Engage in sales activities outside of the hotel to meet with and entertain customers and prospective customers, participate in tradeshows, exhibitions and community events to promote hotel, maintain contacts and close the deal
- Achieve and/or exceed the revenue targeted for the assigned segment
- Submit reports in weekly basis and monthly basis, including monthly production report of the assigned segment
- Monthly review on productivity, strategy & challenges
- Maintain a good working relationship with other departments and employees
- Complete all related training required, both online and offline / in class
- Offer guidance and assistance to Catering & Events Executive and Coordinator

- University graduate.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity with international chain hotels.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English to meet business needs.
- Good team player and able to manage by example.
- Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
- Have hotel sales experience and hotel database.
- Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
- Very familiar with local market and good at marketing trend analysis.
