ERM is seeking motivated Consultant who is interested in participating on a variety of projects covering the full spectrum of ERM’s services. The role will be based in Indonesia.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working across multidisciplinary and interconnected themes to support various project managers;
- Develop awareness on the regulatory framework around labour, land, resettlement and community development;
- Fieldwork in rural and semi-urban environments that involves interactions with multiple set of stakeholder groups;
- Statistical and economic analysis of large data sets, including Census of India and other secondary information;
- Proficiency in topical and focused desk-based research;
- Presentation of complex social and demographic information in a concise and strategic manner;
- Support in proposal writing and marketing material preparation.

**Job Requirements**:

- At least 2-4 years of relevant working experience in social performance;
- Strong understanding of national regulations and laws related to stakeholder consultation, land acquisition and CSR;
- Practical planning, design and implementation of SIA, SEP, resettlement and land acquisition (RAPs and LRAPs) in Indonesia in the oil and gas, mining, agri-business and power sectors;
- Good working knowledge of international standards such as the Word Banks’ Operational Policies, the IFC’s Performance Standards, the Asian Development Banks Safeguard Policies and the Equator Principles;
- Experience in designing and implementing grievance mechanisms;
- Experience in livelihood restoration design and program implementation and monitoring;
- Experience in designing and implementing the social research
- Experience in facilitating the workshop and consultation
- A willingness to travel within Indonesia is essential for short terms assignments; and
- Excellent reporting and verbal communication in English.
- Fluent Bahasa Indonesia
