Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement national sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Set annual sales targets for the regions and ensure alignment with the company's revenue goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges across different regions.
  • Lead and manage the regional and area sales teams, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve targets.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the sales teams through regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the national sales function, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Ensure effective coordination and communication between sales teams and other departments, such as marketing, supply chain, and customer service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure that key accounts are managed effectively and that sales opportunities are maximized.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and new markets to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities that support sales initiatives.
  • Analyze competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales strategies and ensure competitive advantage.
  • Develop and manage the national sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor and control sales expenses to ensure they are in line with the budget and contribute to overall profitability.
  • Report on sales performance to the senior management team, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and analysis for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic insights.
  • Implement and maintain effective sales reporting systems to track and measure sales performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in FMCG Company.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP tools and data analysis.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
