Job Description:
We are seeking a Sales Leadership Position to lead our national sales function. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing national sales strategies that drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement national sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Set annual sales targets for the regions and ensure alignment with the company's revenue goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges across different regions.
- Lead and manage the regional and area sales teams, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve targets.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the sales teams through regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the national sales function, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective action where necessary.
- Ensure effective coordination and communication between sales teams and other departments, such as marketing, supply chain, and customer service.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure that key accounts are managed effectively and that sales opportunities are maximized.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and new markets to drive sales growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in FMCG Company.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in SAP tools and data analysis.
- Willingness to travel as required.
