Faculty Member Activities:

  1. Perform Teaching Activities:
    1. Disseminate and impart basic or applied knowledge to students
    2. Assist students with learning processes
    3. Assess student's learning
  2. Perform Research Activities:
    1. Participate actively in specific research projects
    2. Propose new topics for research projects
    3. Maintain a program of research, scholarship or artistic creativity through which they should aspire to a national or international reputation as scholars and promotion to the rank of Professor (academic specialist rank)
    4. Contribute to their disciplines through publishing articles and books, presenting research findings, or disseminating their work to external audiences
  3. Perform Community Services:
    1. Participate actively in community service programs
    2. Propose new programs for community service
  4. Perform self-development by actively participating in training programs conducted by BCL&D

Operational Management:

  1. Monitor the activities related to curriculum and teaching process (In coordination with OLC):
    1. Maintain the operational table
    2. Maintain the composition of course grade estimation in every exam (UAS/UTS/TM)
    3. Monitor the implementation of peer review and sit in activities
  2. Perform and monitor the activities related to implementation of internship program (In coordination BINUS Career center and other respective units)
  3. Perform and monitor the activities related to Faculty Member:
    1. Set schedule for selection process candidate of Faculty Member & Tutor
    2. Conduct the teaching scheduling activities for Faculty Member, Tutor, Associate Faculty Member and/or assignment for other Departments
  4. Assist Head of Department / Program in performing the following activities:
    1. Set schedule for discussion session with problematic Faculty Member & Tutor
    2. Assist in the fulfillment of Faculty Members & Tutor quota
    3. Assist in monitoring the qualification development (JJA) of Faculty Members (including supporting data)
  5. Assist Head of Department / Program to manage compliance activities and conduct document support for Borang or other national/international standards
  6. Coordinate collaboration and internationalization activities with Partnership Coordinator:
    1. Build relationship with students and Faculty Member for inbound or outbound programs
    2. Arrange visiting lecturers or professors from other national and international universities
    3. Monitor short course activities implementation
  7. Assist Head of Department / Program in coordinating with respective unit / center related to employability and entrepreneurship:
    1. Monitor the achievement of graduates who work at global companies, and become entrepreneurs
    2. Monitor the achievement of employability and entrepreneurship skills
  8. Plan and implement alumni activities (e.g. alumni engagement & endowment)
  9. Conduct laboratory scheduling activities (In coordination with Head of Laboratory/Studio)
  10. Act as public voice of the institution who promotes Faculty/School contributions locally, nationally and internationally, especially in marketing (open house) event activities

Operational Teaching Activities:

  1. Perform and monitor activities related to teaching operational activities:
    1. Monitor the Faculty Member & Tutor attendance status in teaching preparation and examination meetings (e.g. final exam meeting)
    2. Appoint respective Faculty Member & Tutor for teaching assignments
    3. Finalize the teaching schedule for approval process
    4. Validate the examination schedule from respective operation Department/Program
    5. Inform the teaching and examination activities to all Faculty Member & Tutor and students
    6. Monitor the teaching activities by using the web reporting
    7. Monitor the attendance of all Faculty Member & Tutor
    8. Monitor the process of Faculty Member & Tutor substitution
    9. Monitor the collection and distribution of examination materials
    10. Monitor the timely process of examination score submission
    11. Review the students' examination scores per period
    12. Verify the process of examination score complaint
    13. Appoint thesis advisors and examiners based on their qualifications
    14. Assist the Head of Department / Program for the approval process of student thesis to be proceeded for thesis defense
    15. Ensure effective thesis defense session and schedule
    16. Prepare the substitution for thesis examiners
    17. Prepare the thesis guidelines
    18. Resolve student complaints
    19. Resolve the case between students and lecturers
    20. Monitor Department / Program meetings related to Faculty Member & Tutor
    21. Monitor PDPT data
    22. Register students, and prepare the readiness for national / international competitions
    23. Monitor the Department / Program website
    24. Monitor the student internship process arrangement
  2. Support practicum activities to ensure practicum scheduling process (in coordination with Head of Laboratory/Studio)

Student Activities:

  1. Coordinate and monitor activities related to student activities by coordinating it related Units:
    1. Monitor and review student's academic achievement (periodically)
    2. Plan, implement and monitor the improvement activities related to students' academic and non-academic achievement
    3. Coordinate the improvement activities related to student soft-skills and attitude
    4. Monitor the student study period and the fulfillment of credits (SKS) (periodically)
    5. Monitor the students' community services implementation (periodically)

Management Support Activities:

  1. Assist Head of Department/Program in developing monthly, semester, and annual reports
  2. Provide improvement process to Head of Department / Program:
    1. Implementation of academic policy, annual program plan and budget for Department/Program
    2. Disciplinary action and achievement of lecturers and students
    3. Service improvement for all stakeholders especially students and lecturers within the Department/ Program
    4. Effective and efficient process improvement
  3. Perform activities related to Quality Management System
  4. Perform additional tasks as required by direct supervisor
  5. Perform the role of lecturer as stated in Catur Dharma Perguruan Tinggi

General Requirement:

  1. Master Degree with relevant field of Knowledge
  2. Jenjang Jabatan Akademik (JJA): Minimum Asisten Ahli
