Proposition Department Head (Priority & Private Banking)

Job Qualification:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in relevant Strategic Finance, Business, economics majors or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Top Tier / Big 4 management consulting, business analyst, finance modeling, or related role.
  • Experience setting up or building customer segmentation for Priority/ Private Banking is a MUST.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in presentations and spreadsheets is a must. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with big data tools and techniques is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record of driving results and delivering on commitments.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced situations and develop structured, impactful solutions.
  • Passion for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Having a CFA, FMVA, and/or PMP (in progress or completed) will be prioritized.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Customer Segmentation Strategies:

  • Develop data-driven customer segmentation strategies that align with the company's products, services, and overall business objectives.
  • Leverage internal and external data, client insights, competitor analysis, and market trends to identify and validate business opportunities and business process improvement within each customer segment.
  • Design and execute detailed strategic plans, outlining actionable steps to achieve segmentation goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Channels, Market Research & Customer Experience, Brand Management & Communication, etc.) to develop targeted experiences and go-to-market strategies for each segment.
  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and implementation process, ensuring optimal results and maintaining high levels of efficiency.
  • Manage strategic initiatives (cross-vertical and new initiatives) from upstream to downstream, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Formulate strategies to analyze complex business problems, develop hypotheses, conduct research, and make data-driven recommendations to senior management.
  • Assess and make recommendations on cross-functional opportunities, identifying potential synergies and areas for collaboration to maximize business impact.

Monitor, Analyze, and Optimize:

  • Measure post-launch performance of segmentation strategies, analyzing key metrics to assess their effectiveness in increasing sales, customer loyalty, and other relevant KPIs.
  • Identify areas for improvement and continuously refine segmentation approaches based on data analysis and market feedback.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare comprehensive management reports that synthesize key findings, insights, and recommendations related to customer segmentation, strategic initiatives, and business performance.
  • Create compelling data visualizations and presentations to communicate segmentation analysis findings and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate segmentation strategies to stakeholders at all levels, using strong storytelling and influencing skills to gain buy-in and support.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Foster collaboration and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing optimization of segmentation initiatives.
  • Motivate and connect with team members, utilizing formal and informal networks to achieve common goals and drive results.
