Job Description

Oversee the renewal and application process for all business and operating licenses and permits, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Provide expert legal consultation on commercial contract vetting to ensure the company's interests are protected and contracts comply with all relevant laws and regulations.Manage company affairs, including the Corporate Registry of Officers and Shareholders (CROS) and ensure accurate and timely reporting and updating within relevant authorities' systems.Lead the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) functions, including managing permits, liaising with regulatory bodies, and ensuring compliance with all site EHS standards and governmental system updates.Serve as the primary liaison with governmental bodies to ensure seamless communication and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field.Proven experience in managing business licenses, permits, and EHS functions.A minimum of 8 years of experience in a corporate affairs or legal role, with a focus on
regulatory compliance, government relations and EHS.Strong knowledge of commercial contract law and legal consultation practices.Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective liaising with governmental bodies and regulatory authorities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Must speak FLUENT in English
