Job Description for Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager at Archipelago International, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion for our hotel properties. Your primary objective will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, while maintaining and strengthening existing relationships with key customers and accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, focusing on maximizing profit opportunities and analyzing all sources of business.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, commercial accounts, and other sources of business, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Collaborate with other departments, including Front Office and Food and Beverage, to ensure seamless delivery of exceptional customer service and experiences.
  4. Conduct market research and gather intelligence on competitors to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of market developments.
  5. Participate in trade shows and sales promotions to increase brand visibility and drive business growth.
  6. Travel to source markets to solicit business and establish relationships with key customers and accounts.
  7. Manage and coordinate sales-related functions, including incentives and promotions, to drive revenue growth and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Diploma Degree
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  3. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  4. Ability to maintain a high level of performance and drive results-oriented sales strategies
  5. Familiarity with the Corporate or Government segment
