- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence principles.
- Experience integrating with Microsoft SQL Server and other structured data sources.
- Able to understand and migrate logic from Excel-based reports to Power BI dashboards.
- Familiar with working in environments that involve ETL pipelines and staging databases.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data validation skills.
- Experience in similar reporting transformation or migration projects is highly preferred.
- Minimum Qualifications: Understand business and reporting requirements by working with our project team and stakeholders.
- Transform existing operational reports (mainly in Excel format) into Power BI dashboards that follow the same structure and logic.
- Translate business logic and KPIs into effective data visualizations that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Connect Power BI to our staging data warehouse (which extracts data from Integral and other sources).
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by performing validation, thorough testing, and reconciliation against legacy reports, while incorporating feedback from stakeholders as needed.
- Collaborate with our internal ETL team to ensure required data is made available in the data warehouse.
- Assist in troubleshooting and refining dashboards throughout the development cycle.
- Provide support during UAT, respond to user feedback, and incorporate changes as required.
- Document report definitions, data sources, logic, and calculations for future maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Train users and provide walkthroughs to ensure smooth transition from legacy reports to Power BI dashboards.
