Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef de Partie Bakery at Regent Bali Canggu, located in Bali, Indonesia. The Chef de Partie Bakery will oversee bakery operations, including preparing and baking fresh artisanal breads, pastries, and desserts, while maintaining high-quality standards. The role requires coordinating with the culinary team to develop and execute new menu items, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards. The candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising junior staff, and ensuring timely and accurate preparation of baked goods to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in artisan bread-making, pastry, and dessert preparation
  • Knowledge and experience in menu planning and recipe creation
  • Skills in kitchen coordination, staff supervision, and time management
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and industry-standard practices
  • Passion for culinary excellence and attention to detail in presentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Pastry, Baking, or a related field
  • Prior experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end restaurants preferred
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in creative problem-solving and taking initiative
