Purchasing manager should be able to manage and optimize purchasing activities and processes and handle all necessary purchase for 3 venue and 1 central kitchen. An outstanding purchasing manager should have excellent leadership abilities and be able to negotiate the best possible deals with suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
  • Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
  • Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
  • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
  • Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
  • Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
  • Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
  • Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.

What to do? :

  • Daily

    Do price negotiation to achieving cost saving and good contract term
  • Do the best to find solution  to get item ordered to support operational
  • Taking resposibility for all purchasing dept activities can be run effectively and smoothly
  • Do coordination with other dept to ensure that material / stock are always ready, fresh and up to date
  • Ensure products and resources are assigned to the appropriate department and billed accordingly
  • Post orders to inventory module and produces purchase order for order for receiver to match against goods received
  • Update Item price in Quinos
  • Ensure physical stock take is conducted as scheduled and do coordination with CA and CC

Weekly
- Crate price comparison every 2 weeks

Monthly

Crate purchasing monthly report
- Ensure the market surveys are completed in coordination with the Executive Chef, F&B Manager and Accountant.
- Create Market List report and comparison with Company Item price
