Job Description
CDM Smith is building a roster of experts for engagement in an anticipated upcoming opportunity funded by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). This opportunity will support Indonesia's economic development and investment in high-quality, climate resilient infrastructure and support Indonesia's transition to net-zero emissions.

To support this endeavor, CDM Smith seeks technical experts with expertise in the areas listed below:

• Infrastructure Finance Specialist
• Water Infrastructure Specialist
• Transport Infrastructure Specialist
• Solid Waste Management Specialist
• Energy Infrastructure Specialist
• Climate Finance Specialist
• Both international experts and Indonesian nationals are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities
As an expert in your field, you will play a critical role in:

• Provide expert advice and technical support in your area of specialization.
• Collaborate closely with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and monitoring of project activities.
• Promote knowledge sharing and capacity building across partner organizations.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and contribute to reporting processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience expertise in area of specialization
• Bachelor's degree in field related to area of specialization
• Experience on donor-funded projects
• Demonstrated experience working in close collaboration with local/regional government and other stakeholders
• Fluency in spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is highly desirable
• Previous involvement in projects funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) is preferred
• Proficiency in spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia

Background Check and Drug Testing Information
CDM Smith Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries (hereafter collectively referred to as "CDM Smith") reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions. Criminal history will not automatically disqualify a candidate. In addition, during employment individuals may be required by CDM Smith or a CDM Smith client to successfully complete additional background checks, including motor vehicle record as well as drug testing.
