About The Company

We're hiring on behalf of our partner's client, a global logistics and freight forwarding leader.

The Assistant Sales Manager will drive new business acquisition and manage key accounts within the air freight division. This is a front-line B2B sales role requiring strong market insight, proactive client engagement, and the ability to negotiate competitive commercial terms. The role focuses on developing long-term partnerships with corporate customers across multiple industries while ensuring high service quality and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in air freight and 3PL services.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to drive long-term revenue.
  • Prepare customer-specific quotations, pricing proposals, and tender submissions.
  • Negotiate rates, service terms, and solutions with customers and vendors.
  • Collaborate with operations and pricing teams to deliver competitive and reliable services.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain accurate pipelines and forecasts.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market developments, and customer requirements to refine sales strategies.
Job Requirement

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in Sales roles.
  • At least 3 years of direct B2B sales experience in air freight forwarding or 3PL.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing corporate accounts.
  • Strong understanding of freight pricing, route planning, and logistics solutions.

Technical Expertise

  • Solid knowledge of freight forwarding and 3PL operations, especially air cargo.
  • Hands-on experience in tender management, pricing simulations, and designing freight solutions.

Language Skills

  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Professional Qualities

  • High initiative, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
