The Café Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining quality standards, managing inventory, implementing SOPs, upkeep maintenance, and driving sales performance, while keeping the values of excellent service and a farm-to-table dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cafe + Gofood

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily café operations, including opening/closing, sales & marketing, cleanliness, service flow, maintenance and atmosphere.
  • Ensure food and beverage preparation meets café quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Implement, maintain, and enforce SOPs for service, kitchen, and hygiene.
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Manage cash handling, POS system, and daily/weekly sales reporting.
  • Analyze reports and recommend operational improvements.
  • Manage renovation projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and design intent are met.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and develop café staff (baristas, kitchen, service team).
  • Create staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Motivate and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure guests consistently receive excellent hospitality and memorable café experiences.
  • Get & handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain a welcoming and community-oriented environment aligned with café branding.

Business Performance & Sales

  • Monitor café performance metrics: sales, cost of goods (COGS), labor cost, waste control.
  • Assist in setting monthly/quarterly sales targets and achieving revenue goals.
  • Develop promotions (offline & online) to increase visibility and foot traffic.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and revenue dine in & delivery
  • Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining relationships with partners, guests, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (3–5 years) as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of café/restaurant operations, F&B standards, and health regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and control costs.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends/holidays.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with farm-to-table, coffee shop, restaurant or sustainable dining concepts.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Customer satisfaction ratings (reviews, feedback, repeat visits).
  • Staff retention, productivity, and service quality.
