Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives within the Treasury domain of our banking operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of treasury products, risk management, and financial market operations, along with proven expertise in managing complex IT projects. Experience in banking or financial services—especially Treasury systems—is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects related to Treasury operations, including system enhancements, integrations, risk management tools, and regulatory updates.
  • Work closely with Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams to gather business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
  • Oversee implementation of Treasury-related platforms such as TMS (Treasury Management Systems), Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal development teams and external vendors for project execution, system upgrades, and new feature rollouts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ALM, Basel III, liquidity reporting, market risk requirements).
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk logs.
  • Conduct system testing (SIT/UAT), drive issue resolution, and ensure successful deployment.
  • Provide regular project status updates, dashboards, and presentations to senior management.
  • Implement best practices in IT governance, documentation, and change management specific to Treasury operations.
  • Support post-implementation reviews to ensure system performance meets business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
  • 4–8+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of Treasury functions such as liquidity management, cash management, ALM, FX/MM, derivatives, investments, and market risk.
  • Solid knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong prioritization and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency using project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Confluence, etc.).

Preferred Skills

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting Treasury: LCR/NSFR, Basel III/IV, FRTB, interest rate risk, liquidity risk.
  • Familiarity with API integrations, data warehousing, and cloud-based Treasury solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, especially in financial and market data contexts.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced environment interacting with Treasury Front Office, Risk, Finance, and IT teams.
