The Sales Manager – MICE is responsible for driving revenue growth from corporate, group, and event-based business opportunities within the coffee shop segment. This role focuses on building strong relationships with clients, developing tailored event packages, and ensuring successful execution of MICE activities such as meetings, gatherings, workshops, and private events held at the coffee shop or partner venues.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the MICE segment, including corporate meetings, company gatherings, workshops, and community events.
  • Prepare and execute sales strategies and action plans to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Create customized event and catering packages aligned with the coffee shop's brand and offerings.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, and presentations to promote products and services.
  • Manage and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate and event clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate accounts, event organizers, and agencies.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction before, during, and after events.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Barista, Kitchen, and Marketing) to ensure seamless execution of MICE events.

Operational & Financial:

  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and revenue analysis for management review.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and event terms to ensure profitability.
  • Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Marketing & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote MICE packages through campaigns, social media, and partnerships.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to build brand visibility.
  • Support the development of seasonal and festive promotions to boost event bookings.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MICE, hospitality, or F&B sales (experience in coffee shop, café, or restaurant industry is an advantage).
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Passionate about coffee culture and hospitality.

Performance Metrics (KPIs):

  • Monthly and annual MICE revenue achievement.
  • Number of new corporate accounts and repeat clients.
  • Client satisfaction scores and event feedback.
  • Event profitability and cost management.
