The Head of MICE will be responsible for establishing, leading, and growing the new business division, positioning it as a premier destination for Indonesia's most distinguished events. This role requires a strategic and culturally attuned leader with strong commercial acumen, creative vision, and an extensive professional network across Indonesia's corporate, governmental, and social elite.

The Group is expanding into the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) sector - transforming its world-class venues, including auditoriums, function halls, and cultural pavilions, into vibrant centers for high-profile gatherings, from corporate summits and luxury weddings to art showcases and civic events.

Description

• Develop and execute a long-term vision and strategy for the Group's MICE division, positioning it as a cultural and commercial hub for premium and high-impact events.
• Define the service portfolio, standards, and event philosophy to reflect the Group's architectural and cultural prestige.
• Build the division's operational framework, team structure, and financial strategy to ensure scalability and sustainability.
• Leverage an extensive professional and social network to attract high-profile clients, sponsors, and event partners.
• Cultivate enduring relationships across business, government, diplomatic, and cultural circles to strengthen the Group's role as a convenor of meaningful events.
• Represent the Group at key industry forums and exclusive gatherings to elevate brand influence and presence.
• Conceptualize and oversee the delivery of signature events - including executive forums, luxury weddings, art and design showcases, and civic celebrations.
• Ensure every event reflects the Group's commitment to cultural excellence, precision, and timeless sophistication.
• Collaborate with creative directors, curators, and cultural partners to deliver programs that balance business objectives with artistic and civic impact.
• Drive the commercial success of the MICE business through strategic sales, partnerships, and curated audience engagement.
• Lead ticket sales and sponsorship strategies, leveraging personal networks and partnerships to reach targeted audiences.
• Oversee P&L management, pricing models, and business performance metrics.
• Optimize venue utilization and ensure sustainable revenue growth while maintaining the Group's prestige positioning.
• Work closely with the Group's marketing and communications teams to craft a distinctive MICE brand identity aligned with its civic and cultural legacy.
• Champion the Group's venues as premier destinations for gatherings that shape ideas, relationships, and progress.
• Represent the organization with grace, discretion, and authority across all public and private engagements.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or Event Management; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in MICE, hospitality, cultural event management, or luxury brand environments, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven success in developing or managing premium event operations or venue-based businesses.
• Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in ticketed events, sponsorship development, and partnership building.
• Extensive professional network among Indonesia's corporate, governmental, and cultural leaders.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; international exposure or multilingual ability is an advantage.
