About Aquarev:

Aquarev is a venture-backed social enterprise created by The Meloy Fund to renovate, revitalize, and revolve credit for up to 75,000 poorly performing smallholder shrimp farms in Indonesia. Via a proprietary agtech+fintech platform, farmers receive financial support for best-practice renovation and climate-smart intensification of their shrimp ponds, and are provided hands-on support and guidance at the farm level to optimize the day-to-day cultivation process.

Aquarev is now launching its growth phase, bringing in more than US$4 million in investment to scale up its reach to 300 farmers and to implement a series of new sustainability initiatives. Aquarev seeks a dynamic, creative, and high-integrity management team to drive the growth of this innovative new company forward, ultimately to reach thousands of small-scale farmers in Indonesia and beyond.

About the Role:

Kandidat yang ideal memiliki pengalaman 2 – 3 tahun mengelola tambak udang. Kandidat tersebut berperan untuk membangun komunikasi dengan tim yang terlibat dalam operasional budidaya dan serta pihak-pihak lain terkait di sekitar lokasi. Koordinator lapangan akan membantu mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang muncul selama proses kegiatan budidaya udang, baik dalam hal teknis maupun non-teknis, serta membantu melakukan verifikasi data. Untuk posisi ini, dibutuhkan pemahaman mengenai praktik budidaya, serta komitmen untuk membantu peningkatan produksi serta pendapatan petambak. Koordinator Lapangan akan di supervisi oleh Technical Lead Aquarev.

Key responsibilities:

  • Hubungan dengan masyarakat: Membangun dan menjaga hubungan baik dengan para pemangku kepentingan (kantor pemerintah, pegawai kelurahan/desa, komunitas); mengidentifikasi potensi kegiatan masyarakat, membantu menilai resiko sosial yang dapat timbul dan langkah mitigasi/penanganannya.
  • Hubungan dengan tambak: Melakukan kunjungan rutin ke tambak serta berhubungan dengan petambak dan teknisi. Membantu mengidentifikasi kendala teknis dan non teknis di lapangan berdasarkan data yang didapat.
  • Teknologi/penggunaan aplikasi: Membantu petambak menggunakan sistem manajemen pendataan tambak dan sistem manajemen pinjaman/keuangan dalam rangka mengumpulkan data petambak, data produksi tambak, data keuangan, dan data lain yang relevan dengan operasional tambak.
  • Penyerahan data dan verifikasi: Membantu petambak untuk menyusun dan menyerahkan Purchase Order (PO) untuk operasional tambak melalui aplikasi manajemen pinjaman; memastikan pengiriman data produksi harian/mingguan melalui aplikasi; melakukan verifikasi dan dokumentasi di lapangan terkait data operasional dan panen.
  • Management Inventory: Melaporkan segala pergerakan inventory dan memastikan dokumen telah dilengkapi.
  • Monitoring dan Evaluasi: Melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi secara rutin terhadap data tambak dan penggunaan teknologi setelah selesai satu siklus budidaya bersama dengan pimpinan teknis Aquarev; memberikan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan pada siklus yang akan datang berdasarkan data yang didapat.

Requirements:

  1. Sarjana (S1) atau diploma (D3) dalam perikanan, biologi, pertanian, atau bidang ilmu lain yang relevan
  2. Mempunyai pengetahuan cara budidaya udang, berpengalaman 2 - 3 tahun mengelola tambak udang lebih diutamakan
  3. Mempunyai kemampuan berkomunikasi yang sangat baik, baik dengan petambak maupun dengan pemangku kepentingan lainnya
  4. Diutamakan warga lokal atau bersedia bekerja di daerah Bangka Tengah, Bangka Belitung
  5. Menguasai Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris (opsional) yang baik secara lisan dan tulisan
