Job Overview

The Brand Manager will oversee the end-to-end development, implementation, and execution of brand strategies and sales support within Alphabet Co.'s retail and distribution business unit. This role is responsible for driving brand visibility, strengthening market positioning, and delivering measurable sales growth. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the brand vision is consistently represented across all customer touchpoints while developing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Brand Strategy

  2. Develop and execute long-term brand strategies aligned with overall business goals.

  3. Ensure consistent brand messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all retail channels.
  4. Oversee the implementation of brand guidelines in-store and across partner networks.

  5. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  6. Create short- and long-term sales plans to achieve targets.

  7. Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue, market penetration, and customer engagement.
  8. Work with sales teams to optimize promotions, pricing, and product visibility.

  9. Team Leadership

  10. Lead, mentor, and motivate the retail and sales teams to achieve individual and group objectives.

  11. Provide coaching, regular performance reviews, and development plans.
  12. Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

  13. Client & Partner Management

  14. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, retail partners, and prospects.

  15. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell to maximize account value.
  16. Maintain close communication with retail buyers and distributors to support store-level excellence.

  17. Sales Reporting & Forecasting

  18. Track and analyze sales performance metrics.

  19. Prepare regular reports and forecasts using data insights to guide decision-making.
  20. Adjust sales and marketing strategies based on performance trends and market shifts.

  21. Sales Process & Pipeline Management

  22. Oversee the entire sales pipeline from lead generation to closing.

  23. Ensure compliance with company policies, best practices, and systematic sales processes.
  24. Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
  25. Develop and track KPIs for brand and retail performance.

  26. Marketing Campaign & Activation

  27. Lead the development of retail-specific campaigns, promotions, and product launches.

  28. Ensure campaigns resonate with target customers and drive store traffic and conversions.
  29. Coordinate creative development, timelines, and channel mix with internal teams.

  30. Market & Consumer Insights

  31. Conduct ongoing market analysis to understand industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.

  32. Identify opportunities for innovation, category expansion, and competitive advantage.

  33. Budget Management

  34. Manage retail marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

  35. Track spending and measure ROI for campaigns and initiatives.

  36. Cross-functional Collaboration

  37. Work closely with marketing, creative, digital, supply chain, and retail operations teams.

  38. Ensure the alignment of brand messaging and execution across all channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in brand management or sales, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and executing high-impact marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of retail channels, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
