What You'll Be Doing

• Architect & Innovate: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive Building Management Systems (BMS), integrating advanced lighting (DALI, DMX) and HVAC controls into a one, cohesive platform.
• End-to-End Execution: Lead the deployment, programming, and commissioning of BMS solutions on project sites, ensuring flawless performance and client satisfaction.
• Custom Solution Development: Engineer and program custom microcontroller-based solutions (ESP32, Arduino) to solve unique challenges and enhance system capabilities beyond off-the-shelf products.
• System Integration: Implement and troubleshoot key industry protocols like BACnet, Modbus, DALI, and DMX to ensure seamless communication between all building subsystems.
• Design & Documentation: Create detailed control system schematics, network architectures, and operational documents using CAD software.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize: Act as the lead technical expert for diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues across the entire BMS.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Research and champion the latest trends in IoT, smart building technology, and energy efficiency to keep our solutions at the cutting edge.

What We're Looking For: The Ideal Candidate

This is not just an integrator role; we are looking for a true systems engineer. The best candidate will possess a unique blend of embedded systems expertise and high-level building automation knowledge.

• Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Control Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in BMS, building and lighting automation, or a related embedded systems engineering role.
• BMS Platform Expertise: Proven experience with major BMS platforms (e.g., Schneider Electric, Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls) and a deep understanding of HVAC control logic and sequences.
• Microcontroller & Embedded Prowess: Strong proficiency in designing and programming microcontrollers (e.g., ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi) using C/C++ or Embedded C for real-world control applications.
• Protocol Fluency: Expert-level knowledge of building automation and lighting protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, DALI, and DMX.
• Hardware & Design Skills: Demonstrable experience with hardware design, from schematic capture and PCB layout to hands-on system commissioning. Proficiency with CAD software is essential.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues that span hardware, software, and network layers.
• Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly within a cross-functional engineering team and effectively with clients.
