About the role

Geniux Cleantech is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team in our Sanur office. You'll be responsible for preparing, issuing, and following up on customer invoices to ensure timely payments and accurate financial records. This full-time role offers the opportunity to develop your accounting skills and contribute to the financial success of a growing cleantech business. You'll work closely with a supportive team dedicated to excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time, ensuring all billing information is complete and compliant with company policies.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding and overdue payments, maintaining regular communication with customers to ensure invoices are settled within agreed terms.
  • Record and reconcile customer payments promptly to keep account balances accurate and up to date across all systems.
  • Provide daily and weekly reports to the Finance Assistant Manager, supporting effective cashflow management and financial visibility.
  • Liaise professionally with customers and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team by maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a proactive approach to accounts receivable processes.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer with a strong focus on accuracy, communication, and customer service. You'll take ownership of the invoicing and collections process, ensuring timely payments and reliable financial records in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role, preferably within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical mindset
