Head of Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretary

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day contractual matters, including lease agreements and supplier exclusivity contracts. This role requires expertise in corporate secretarial work, particularly for publicly listed companies, and familiarity with IPO processes. The ideal candidate will ensure legal compliance and effective management of corporate legal affairs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.
  • Professional certification as a Corporate Secretary or Legal Practitioner preferred ( such as PERADI License. )
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate legal roles, with a focus on publicly listed companies.
  • Proven experience in managing contracts, corporate secretarial work, and IPO processes.
  • Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice and managing complex legal matters.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, securities law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibility : 

  • Contract Management: Overseeing all contracts, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring compliance.
  • Corporate Secretarial Duties: Handling legal responsibilities for publicly traded companies, including filings and board meetings.
  • IPO Support: Providing legal guidance and ensuring adherence to regulations during the IPO process.
  • Legal Compliance: Monitoring legal changes, advising management on risks, and developing legal policies.
  • Supplier Management: Maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring contract compliance, and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Preparing reports on legal and contractual matters and maintaining accurate legal records.
