Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on commercial contracts, business transactions, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate laws, industry regulations, and internal policies.
  • Act as the Corporate Secretary, overseeing board meetings, preparing minutes, and ensuring adherence to corporate governance requirements.
  • Support the organization in handling disputes, litigation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on legal matters.
  • Monitor legal developments and advise management on potential risks and necessary actions.
  • Ensure timely filing of regulatory and corporate documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience, with minimum 3 years experience in General Manager or Head Level.
  • Strong understanding of commercial law, corporate governance, and compliance.
  • Experience as a Corporate Secretary and familiarity with regulatory filings.
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to provide strategic legal guidance in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
