We are looking for Accountant to manage the financial operations of our restaurant and bar. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting skills, a basic knowledge of English, and experience in hospitality or F&B businesses is a plus point. This role involves handling all accounting, payroll, tax, and reporting functions, as well as managing financial controls and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Handle financial accounting and reporting, including maintaining cash records and bar bank operations.
  2. Control accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  3. Verify and organize all primary documents such as receipts, invoices, acts, and bills.
  4. Maintain VAT and other tax records, ensuring timely and accurate submission of declarations.
  5. Record and control employee advance payments and reimbursements.
  6. Calculate and process payroll, including service charges, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
  7. Submit payroll for payment and maintain all payroll-related tax and social contribution reports.
  8. Monitor employee attendance and work schedules when required.
  9. Receive, verify, and process invoices and bills from suppliers, coordinating with the technologist.
  10. Monitor supplier payments, invoice due dates, and contract obligations such as rent and utilities.
  11. Maintain reconciliation statements and an up-to-date list of suppliers and contracts.
  12. Ensure accuracy and compliance between POS reports, cash, and bank records.
  13. Prepare financial documents and data for external audits when needed.
  14. Monitor all licenses, tax registrations, and insurance payments.
  15. Maintain an internal financial database covering payments, tax numbers, suppliers, and contracts.
  16. Input and manage all necessary data within the bar's operating system in coordination with the technologist.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a restaurant or bar.
  2. Knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
  3. Basic understanding of English (reading and writing).
  4. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  6. Familiarity with POS and basic accounting software is an advantage.
