We are now seeking a passionate and creative Learning & Development Manager to lead all training and development initiatives at Grand Hyatt Bali. The Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing all training programs across departments, ensuring alignment with Hyatt International's corporate strategies, brand standards, and the hotel's goals. This position plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Human Resources to implement Hyatt's People Philosophy and drive engagement, development, and performance throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all Learning & Development activities in line with Hyatt's global standards and corporate strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Committee and Department Heads to identify training needs through quality assurance tools and operational feedback.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs that enhance associate performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Administer and maintain the My Learning online platform, ensuring all records are accurate, updated, and compliant with corporate requirements.
  • Facilitate all resort training programs, including Introduction to Hyatt, mandated global learning initiatives, and local development sessions.
  • Mentor and coach Department Heads, Service Coaches, and associates to cultivate a culture of learning and leadership.
  • Promote participation in global Hyatt initiatives such as Global Wellbeing Week, World of Care, and Global Month of Service.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all learning and development efforts reflect Hyatt's brand promise and values of empathy, respect, and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably within an international hospitality environment.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and leadership skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to design innovative learning experiences tailored to operational needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with e-learning platforms and quality assurance systems.
  • Passionate about people development and committed to upholding Hyatt's culture of care.
