Job Responsibilities
  • Determine the strategic direction, KPIs, and annual budget for Training Department, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
  • Lead and direct the learning and development team to ensure the smooth execution of all technical training operations, curriculum development, and knowledge management processes.
  • Review and provide final approval for all new training curricula, syllabi, module materials, and the annual training calendar.
  • Manage the departmental budget effectively and efficiently to maximize ROI.
  • Evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and training effectiveness reports to identify gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor direct subordinates, building a high-performing team of training specialists and supervisors.
  • Coordinate with senior management and other department heads to ensure training programs meet the evolving needs of the business.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Management, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Learning & Development (L&D), training, or a related role within a Retail environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in leading and managing a team or department.
  • Professional certification in Learning & Development, Training, or Management is highly preferred.
  • Strong strategic skills in L&D Management, Instructional Design, Knowledge Management, and Strategic Planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a proven ability to drive results.
