We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Chief Engineering to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of all engineering functions at our resort, Amnaya Resort Nusa Dua with the following details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all maintenance and repair activities for the resort's infrastructure, equipment, and facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and guest room maintenance.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily tasks for the engineering team, ensuring timely completion of preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Work closely with other departments to address any technical issues that may affect operations, guest satisfaction, or safety.
  • Help manage and maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment for the engineering department.
  • Conduct training and developing the engineering team to enhance skills and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks and documentation are properly recorded and tracked.
  • Take initiative in energy conservation projects and recommend cost-saving strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a resort or hotel setting for at least 2 years.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP).
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, boilers, and other large mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of technicians and tradespeople.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Relevant technical certifications or a degree in engineering is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
