About the role

We are seeking a talented Engineering Staff to join our team at Arpana Villas & Private Estate in Badung, Bali. As an Engineering Staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation and upkeep of our prestigious villa and estate property. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment within the hospitality and tourism industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing regular maintenance and repairs on the estate's infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  2. Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner
  3. Collaborating with the wider operations team to ensure the property is well-maintained and guest-ready at all times
  4. Conducting routine inspections and identifying any potential issues before they become problems
  5. Assisting with the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance the overall guest experience
  6. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of guests and staff

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  2. Strong technical skills and a good understanding of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  3. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a solution-oriented mindset
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with guests, colleagues, and contractors
  6. Familiarity with building management systems and a willingness to learn new technologies
  7. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
