One of Bali's trendiest Canggu venues is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join their team immediately.

The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations to ensure a high-quality dining experience, efficient workflow, and strong financial performance. This role involves managing staff, optimising service standards, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirement :

  • Open for local and expat candidates.
  • Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and supervise diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to coordinate effectively with staff, guests, and management.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to maintain performance in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management, and basic financial reporting (sales reports, daily cash reconciliation, cost control).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle escalations and ensure an outstanding guest experience.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage daily operations smoothly.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
  • Familiarity with staff scheduling, SOP implementation, and operational workflow planning is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of marketing initiatives, such as promotions, events, or social media coordination, is a plus.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and consistent service.
  • ⁠Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of all dining and kitchen areas.
  • ⁠Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion consistency.
  • ⁠Manage inventory, conduct stock checks, and coordinate ordering with suppliers.
  • ⁠Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new staff members.
  • ⁠Create and manage staff schedules to meet business needs.
  • ⁠Train employees in service standards, food handling, and safety procedures.
  • ⁠Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve skills and morale.
  • ⁠Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly.
  • ⁠Manage guest complaints professionally and resolve issues effectively.
  • ⁠Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and uphold the restaurant's brand standards.
  • ⁠Monitor daily sales, labour costs, and food cost percentages.
  • ⁠Prepare and analyse financial reports (P&L, budgets, forecasts).
  • ⁠Implement strategies to increase revenue and control expenses.
  • ⁠Ensure accurate cash handling and POS system procedures.
  • ⁠Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations.
  • ⁠Conduct regular safety audits and staff training.
  • ⁠Keep up-to-date with local food service laws and industry best practices.
