About the role

Join the thriving team at Lago Bali' in Lembongan Island as a full-time Cost Controller. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's cost accounting processes, ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting. Working from our offices in the vibrant city of Bali, you will play a crucial part in supporting the company's strategic decision-making and driving financial optimization.

What you'll be doing

  • Analyse and monitor costs across all business functions, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analyses, providing insightful recommendations to management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost control strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Support the planning and budgeting processes, providing data-driven forecasts and budget recommendations
  • Continuously refine and streamline cost accounting procedures to enhance efficiency
  • Mentor and train junior members of the finance team

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a cost accounting or finance role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry
  • Proficient in cost accounting principles, including cost analysis, budgeting, and variance reporting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and present findings effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools
  • Adaptable to change and committed to continuous improvement
