Location:
Based in Bangkok or Jakarta (open to both local talent and expatriates), with frequent business travel to key cities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Market Launch & Expansion
  2. Develop and execute a 3-year sales strategy for the Thailand/Indonesia market, achieving annual revenue and store expansion targets from the ground up.
  3. Channel Development & Management
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with local distributors and partners to establish a profitable and scalable local business model.
  5. Team Leadership
  6. Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing local sales team (including regional managers, store managers, and field marketing staff), and set up standardized operational, training, and performance systems.
  7. Brand Positioning & Experience
  8. Collaborate with HQ functions (marketing, training, after-sales) to organize product launches, premium experience events, and cultural campaigns that strengthen brand awareness and reputation in the local market.
  9. Business Insight & Reporting
  10. Provide regular reports on market trends, competition, financial performance, and risks, enabling quick strategic adjustments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, or International Trade.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the furniture or durable consumer goods retail sector, including at least 3 years in frontline management roles in Southeast Asia.
  • Strong understanding of the high-end retail and distribution ecosystem in Thailand or Indonesia; existing channel resources are a plus.
  • Professional proficiency in English or Thai/Bahasa Indonesia; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage as the working need.
  • Results-driven, resilient under pressure, and open to long-term relocation or local career development.
