Responsibilities
Team Introduction

The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Material Preparation
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials for client meetings
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Collect and organize sales data for analysis, generating insights and reports for the sales team
  • Create performance dashboards or trackers to monitor key account performance
  • Ad Management
  • Appeal rejected ads
  • Research and document client's competitor advertising activities to identify trends and opportunities
  • Administrative Support
  • Coordinate logistics and handle other administrative tasks to support client-facing activities
  • Draft meeting minutes and follow up on action points after internal or client meetings
  • Client Interaction and Learning
  • Shadow account managers during client meetings or calls to gain exposure to professional client interactions
  • Learn about the industry, market trends, and client-specific needs to contribute meaningfully to discussions
  • Client Support
  • Help develop FAQs or troubleshooting guides to address common client questions
  • Event and Campaign Analysis
  • Create detailed post-mortem reports summarizing event or campaign performance, lessons learned, and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with team members to identify actionable insights from past campaigns for future optimization

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and advertising concepts is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint for reports, dashboards, and presentations; also having basic knowledge of creating and editing visuals for presentations is advantageous
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data, ad metrics, and campaign performance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong verbal and written communication to interact with internal teams
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, platforms, or processes
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about the digital advertising industry and develop professional skills
  • Team player who collaborates effectively with diverse teams
  • Familiarity with advertising platforms is a plus
  • Proactive and willing to contribute in a meeting or project
  • Accountability and reliability in handling tasks and meeting expectation
