Company Description

Yayasan Bambu Lingkungan Lestari (YBLL), also known as the Environmental Bamboo Foundation (EBF), is an Indonesian non-profit organization dedicated to promoting regenerative development through bamboo-based landscape restoration and sustainable livelihood initiatives. YBLL is implementing the Bio Wallacea Project, a collaborative initiative carried out in partnership with national and international stakeholders to advance biodiversity conservation, sustainable landscape management, and community resilience in the Wallacea region of Indonesia.

Role Description

The
Project Coordinator
will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and execution of the Bio Wallacea Project. This includes strategic planning, supervision of project staff and consultants, coordination with implementing partners and stakeholders, and ensuring the project's objectives are effectively achieved in alignment with donor and government standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and coordination of the project's planning and implementation activities.
  • Ensure effective collaboration and integrated progress reporting among project teams, consultants, and partners.
  • Oversee the development of
    Integrated Community Landscape Plans (ICLPs)
    in collaboration with field staff, experts, and senior advisors.
  • Prepare and submit annual work plans, budgets, and progress reports for review and approval by oversight committees.
  • Coordinate and supervise project personnel, consultants, and service providers, including drafting Terms of Reference and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of project outputs and deliverables.
  • Maintain strong communication and coordination with key stakeholders at national and site levels.
  • Ensure adherence to Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks, and integrate gender equity and social inclusion considerations across project activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, natural resource management, development studies, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Experience:
    At least
    7 years of progressive experience
    in project management within the environmental, conservation, or development sectors, preferably in NGOs or international development programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects involving government, community, and private sector partners.
  • Proven experience in budget management, reporting, and monitoring & evaluation.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills in both
    Bahasa Indonesia and English

  • Strong familiarity with government systems, donor-funded projects, and community engagement approaches in Indonesia.
  • Understanding of gender, social inclusion, and local socio-cultural dynamics in conservation or livelihood projects.
