About the Role

The Export Import Staff acts as a bridge ensuring the flow of goods and materials to and from abroad runs smoothly, legally, and in compliance with government regulations and the company's logistical schedule. This role is highly focused on document administration, compliance, and logistics coordination

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably logistics or international trade related majors
  • Have at least 2 year export import work experience
  • Actively master English both spoken and written
  • Able to work with a team and have good communication, negotiation and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Able to work to deadlines, be thorough and agile as well as multitasking
  • Can work under pressure
  • Have a good understanding of export and import regulations and licenses
  • Understanding HS Code, and Customs Rules
  • Have a good understanding of import activities, international trade, taxation, transportation of goods, logistics

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and arrange overseas shipments according to orders, and monitor overseas operations and shipping progress
  • Prepare, review and verify import/export clearance documents, and apply for relevant permits/licenses
  • Act as liaison between customs authorities and internal departments for clearance matters
  • Track clearance progress, coordinate customs inspections and other related procedures to ensure timely clearance
  • Maintain and update import/export records, organize and archive clearance documents
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
