Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Manager located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analyzing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role includes tasks such as preparing financial statements, conducting financial forecasting, managing financial risks, and developing strategic financial plans, and liaising with external auditors and stakeholders. The Finance Manager will also collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and optimize financial performance.

Job Description

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Creating budgets and financial forecasts
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and closing of monthly and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for management review.
  • Prepare the consolidated financial statement in the monthly basis.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitoring cash flow, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring proper cash management practices.
  • Cost Control: Identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing strategies to optimize expenses.
  • Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to assess the financial health of the business and identify areas for improvement.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations and coordinating with external tax advisors.
  • Audit Preparation: Coordinating with auditors for financial audits and ensuring compliance with audit

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems (experience using Xero is a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the family entertainment or retail industry is advantageous
  • Proficiency in English is required; Mandarin is a plus
  • Available to join immediately
