Digital Partnership Manager

Job Summary

The Digital Partnership Manager is responsible for driving broker-led digital distribution of insurance products by building, managing, and scaling relationships with digital brokers, aggregators, fintechs, and ecosystem partners. The role focuses on growing GWP through structured partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance (OJK), and delivering seamless embedded and digital insurance propositions. This position requires strong understanding of general insurance products (including micro insurance), commercial negotiation skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard digital brokers, aggregators, and ecosystem partners aligned with company distribution strategy
• Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with digital brokers, insurtech platforms, and B2B partners
• Lead commercial discussions, pricing models, contract negotiations, and go-to-market execution
• Drive digital broker channel performance to achieve monthly and annual GWP targets
• Oversee end-to-end partnership implementation including product mapping, API enablement, SLA finalization, operations, and reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Underwriting, Claims, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, IT) to enable smooth partner onboarding and launch
• Ensure compliance with all relevant OJK regulations and internal governance for broker-led partnerships, embedded sales, and channel documentation
• Monitor performance metrics (conversion, GWP, claims ratio, CAC) and share periodic business reviews with management
• Drive continuous optimization and problem solving on funnel, operational, or regulatory issues affecting partner sales
• Scan market for new digital distribution models, product opportunities (including micro insurance), and emerging channels

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Insurance, IT or related fields
• 4–7 years of experience in digital partnerships, broker management, business development, or insurance distribution
• Previous experience working with digital brokers, aggregators, or insurtechs is a strong advantage
• Strong understanding of general insurance products, including micro insurance, personal lines, and embedded products
• Solid grasp of broker onboarding processes, commercial frameworks, and OJK regulatory requirements related to digital & broker-based distribution
• Demonstrated ability to drive commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and partnership economics
• Strong network or connections with brokers, aggregators, fintechs, and digital platforms in the market is a plus
• Target-oriented with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
• Capable of working in a startup/scale-up environment, with hands-on execution and agile problem-solving attitude
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken)
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
