About the Role

This Senior Field Sales Engineering position involves selling Equinix solutions to new accounts and expanding existing ones. You will utilize your technical expertise to identify customer needs, challenges, and technical requirements and map them to Equinix solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be the primary customer technical point of contact for Equinix's Data Center Services, covering colocation space and power.
  • You will provide full support for customer meetings and lead data center tours explaining the facility's electrical and mechanical infrastructure capabilities.
  • You will analyze situations and data on problems of moderate scope independently.
Solution Design and Deliverables
  • You will develop all deliverables for customers with minimal oversight from Sales Engineering Management and peers.
  • You will exercise judgment to solve customer issues that are outside of standard procedures appropriately.
  • You will provide technical solution design expertise on colocation and customer cages to assigned Sales account executives.
Customer Service
  • You will communicate with customers (internal and external) in a professional, friendly, and effective manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • You will support pre-sales efforts for all company products and services.
  • You will demonstrate good presentation skills and actively participate in cultivating a positive culture on the team.
Business and Market Expertise
  • You will possess industry knowledge and familiarity with the competitive landscape.
  • You will demonstrate a full understanding of Equinix data center, Network, and Cloud products and services.
