Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Executive to join our team. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing opportunities in the assigned sector, working with channel partners to qualify leads and close deals, and contributing to the development of sales strategies and weekly forecast meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop opportunities directly or indirectly in the assigned sector to achieve sales targets.
  • Work with partners to fulfill sales targets for the assigned sector.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and participate in weekly sales forecast meetings.
  • Liaise with the service delivery team to ensure services are delivered in accordance with the scope of work.
  • Upsell services within existing accounts.
Main Activities:

Direct Sales:

  • Qualify and manage leads (direct or through SDR).
  • Develop sales pipelines, convert sales pipelines to opportunities, and achieve closure.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities in existing accounts.

Indirect Sales:

  • Qualify channel partner leads and work towards closing qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with channel partner sales teams to capture requirements together with Hexagon Pre-sales.
  • Work alongside channel partner sales teams on both sales and technical proposals.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities in existing accounts.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:
    • Computer Science,
    • Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial).
  • Strong understanding of business demands in the following industries:
    • Power Generation
    • Food & Beverage
    • Chemicals
  • Proven track record of enterprise software solutions sales experience to Operations and Maintenance personas in the following industries:
    • Power Generation
    • Chemical
    • Food & Beverage
  • Prior experience of enterprise software solutions sales to Public Sector (Government Agencies, Government Ministries) is advantageous.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be entrepreneurial in nature.
  • Fluent in Spoken and Written English.
  • Possess a valid driving license and able to travel on short notice.
Performance Metrics:
  • Meet revenue targets.
  • Salesforce data and pipeline accuracy > 90%.
  • Pro-active feedback participation.
  • Develop two new customers in target industries.
Skills Development:
  • Develop good pipeline win ratios.
  • Ability to identify key business issues and propose solutions.
  • Improve cold call and lead rates.
  • Ability to follow up tasks or leads and update them in Salesforce.
  • Develop objection handling and negotiation techniques.
