Demand and Business Excellence Lead

**Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives**:
The role aims to ensure the accurate Demand Forecast on a monthly basis. In order to deliver this objective, the incumbent shall be responsible for leading ANI Division’s demand processes including but not limited to:
(1) Demand Management and S&OP, (2) Business Excellence, and, (3) any other related tasks assigned by GM. The incumbent should coordinate with the various departments of the organization (Sales, Marketing, SC Operations, Medical / Regulatory Affairs, Market Access and Finance) and with the Area Demand Manager, Area NPI Coordinator. The incumbent is expected to provide business analyses, performance measurement and strategy alignment to continuously drive improvements in the affiliate Demand and Business Excellence

processes.

**Major Responsibilities**:
1. Lead ANI S&OP Process / Demand Review
- Prepare S&OP / Demand Review agenda, package and minutes
- Analyze/Challenge the demand input from Sales and Marketing teams to ensure good demand forecasting
- Highlight and investigate exceptions (abnormal demand, supply issues, etc.).
- Provide in-market/to-market, inventory analysis by preparing and communicating timely Affiliate Demand Report to Area
- Facilitate gap analysis of S&OP process versus financial commitments
- Provide information related to Demand management and S&OP to Area

2. Manage the publication and ensure integrity of data in all related systems (JDA, Cognos, SAP APO and local S&OP / Finance models).

3. Track assigned KPIs by Area or Corporate; provide analysis and recommendations to Management in order to improve affiliate performance.

4. Participate in business review meetings with sales and marketing teams to understand the demand trends so as to be able to help improve demand with sales and marketing, as well as take an active role in the planning processes related to ADS.

5. Lead or participate Margin & Profitability projects related to Demand.

6. Make visits to key customers to better understand the DOH and verify the demand/sales trend of sales and marketing.

7. Coordinate and consolidate Demand forecast with major customers / distributors

8. Lead policy and procedure elaboration regarding S&OP, Demand Management and Business Excellence.

9. New Product Introduction
- Be the Supply Chain representative to New Product Introduction (NPI) process
- Communicate the demand forecast based on the status of projects via S&OP

10. Lead the process to identify and monitor KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending improvement actions. Monitor resource utilization and manage resource allocation, including identifying changes to long term resource needs and implementing necessary actions.

11. Business Excellence
- Promote and drive continuous improvement processes within the organization
- Develop innovative solutions to work with one set of numbers

12. Develop, build and maintain relationships with internal business stakeholders and external clients as necessary

13. Act on Special Projects as designated by General Manager

**Skill, Education, Experience**:

- Business, Economics, Finance or Engineering tertiary/degree qualification
- Minimum 10 years in Demand Planning or Supply Chain related and Management role with demonstrated success.
- Multi-national FMCG company exposure is preferred
- Computer literacy
