Liveaboard Dive Guide

**About Us**:
Sea Safari Cruises is a leading liveaboard company offering extraordinary journeys through Indonesia's most scenic marine destinations. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced **Dive Guide** to oversee guest activities, manage onboard operations, and ensure smooth sailing on one of our vessels.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Dive Operations**
- Plan, organize, and lead safe and enjoyable scuba diving activities for guests.
- Conduct dive briefings, safety checks, and equipment orientations.
- Assist with guiding divers and supervising introductory dives, as needed.

**Guest Experience & Hospitality Management**:

- Service-oriented, ensuring guests comfort, satisfaction, and safety throughout the cruise.
- Greet guests at the start of the cruise, provide briefings when necessary, and offer ongoing information about the itinerary, activities, and daily schedules.
- Handle service issues promptly and professionally, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for.
- Share knowledge about dive sites, marine life, and underwater ecosystems.

**Equipment Management**
- Oversee the maintenance, inspection, and preparation of dive equipment.
- Manage and operate onboard compressors and Nitrox systems.
- Assist guests with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and storage.

**Safety and Compliance**
- Enforce strict adherence to diving safety standards and protocols.
- Conduct regular emergency drills and ensure readiness for potential incidents.
- Ensure compliance with international and local marine and diving regulations.

**Collaboration and Teamwork**
- Work closely with the Cruise Director, deck crew, and other team members to coordinate daily activities.
- Assist with general operations onboard, such as guest logistics and briefings.

**Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during activities and that guests are fully briefed on emergency procedures.
- Assist with the execution of safety drills and be well-prepared for emergency situations.

**Environmental Stewardship**
- Promote eco-friendly diving practices and educate guests about marine conservation.

**Qualifications**:

- Certified as a Dive Master or Instructor (e.g., PADI, SSI, NAUI, etc.).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in leading dives and dive tours, preferably in a liveaboard setting.
- Strong knowledge of dive equipment and maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems efficiently.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong passion for diving and the marine environment.
- Ability to work in remote, marine, and challenging conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental conservation.
- Knowledge of dive compressor and Nitrox system operations is a plus.
