The Senior Marketing Manager will lead strategic marketing initiatives across all LYD Group venues, driving brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue. This role involves spearheading the development and execution of high-impact marketing strategies, managing a team that includes the Social Media Manager and a team of marketing specialists, collaborating closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Strategist and Creative Production Manager, and reporting directly to the Group Creative and Marketing Director. This role will ensure that marketing efforts align with the overall business objectives and will act as a key support to the Director, allowing for a seamless blend of creative and strategic leadership.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

  • Lead the development of comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to achieve business goals across all venues.
  • Conduct advanced market research and data analysis to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies based on emerging trends.
  • Establish marketing goals, KPIs, and budgets in collaboration with the Group Creative & Marketing Director.
  • Drive strategic brand positioning and competitive differentiation across digital, social media, events, partnerships, and in-venue marketing.

Team Development and Leadership:

  • Manage, mentor, and grow the marketing team, including the Social Media Manager and in-venue marketing staff.
  • Foster a high-performance culture that encourages creativity, accountability, and professional development.
  • Facilitate effective cross-departmental collaboration to integrate marketing initiatives with broader business objectives.

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, focusing on digital, content, social media, email, and experiential marketing.
  • Develop data-driven strategies to maximize campaign performance, leveraging analytics to guide decision-making.
  • Present campaign insights and results to the leadership team, recommending adjustments to improve ROI and engagement.

Content Strategy and Brand Storytelling:

  • Guide the creation of compelling content strategies, ensuring alignment with LYD Group and venue's brand narrative and target audience preferences.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality marketing content that drives engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Oversee content distribution across all relevant channels, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.

Brand Development and Positioning:

  • Lead initiatives to maintain and elevate the LYD Group and individual venues brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Monitor and analyze brand perception, leveraging insights to inform strategic decisions and enhance brand image.
  • Develop partnerships and collaborations that align with the brand's values and elevate its position in the market.

Event Marketing & Promotion:

  • Create marketing strategies for venue events, driving attendance and engagement through targeted campaigns and partnerships.
  • Manage the marketing efforts for events, including promotions, sponsorships, influencer collaborations, and media partnerships.
  • Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless integration of marketing and event logistics.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Establish robust performance metrics and analyze campaign and marketing data to measure success and guide future efforts.
  • Present comprehensive performance reports to the Group Creative & Marketing Director, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovations, using insights to inform marketing strategy.

Budget Management and Financial Accountability:

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.
  • Monitor expenditures and maintain financial oversight to ensure all marketing activities are within budget.
  • Identify cost-saving measures while balancing quality and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: at least 5 years in senior marketing roles, ideally within hospitality, music, lifestyle arts, and/or entertainment sectors. Experience with youth culture brands is a plus.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with a track record of driving high performance and growth.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies, adapt to changing market conditions, and think critically.
  • Digital Proficiency: Skilled in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, analytics, and SEO.
  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and campaign optimization.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in an engaging and accessible manner.
  • Creative Flair: Capable of generating fresh ideas and creative solutions, with a passion for brand storytelling.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Resilient: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
