Position Purpose:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing marketing strategies and initiatives across all LYD Group venues. This role involves managing an assistant social media manager and in-venue marketing team, implementing marketing plans, and ensuring that all marketing efforts align with the company's goals and brand standards. The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Group Marketing and Creative Director.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Group Marketing and Creative Director to set marketing goals and budgets.

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the marketing team, including the Assistant Social Media Manager.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Optimize campaigns based on performance data to maximize ROI.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Oversee the creation of marketing content, including promotional materials, website copy, social media posts, and email newsletters.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging and high-quality content.

Brand Management:

  • Maintain and enhance the LYD Group brand image.
  • Ensure consistency in branding across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Monitor brand perception and make recommendations for improvement.

Event Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the events team to promote and support events at LYD Group venues.
  • Develop marketing strategies to drive event attendance and engagement.
  • Manage event-related marketing activities, including promotions, partnerships, and sponsorships.

Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing success.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Group Marketing and Creative Director on marketing performance and outcomes.
  • Use data and analytics to make informed marketing decisions.

Budget Management:

  • Assist in developing and managing the marketing budget.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure marketing activities stay within budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing management, preferably within the hospitality, entertainment, or lifestyle industries.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including social media platforms, email marketing, and analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
