Job Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Business to lead our business strategy and operations, incubate new products, drive revenue growth, and manage profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities. The ideal candidate will also play a critical role in defining and leading the product roadmap, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and aligned with market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incubation of New Products:
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities in the Investment space, across Stocks, Mutual Fund, Bonds products, among others.
- Lead the ideation, development, and launch of innovative Investment products.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team to drive product excellence.
- Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Explore new business models and revenue streams to enhance profitability.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- P&L Management:
- Oversee the financial performance of the business, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Analyze financial data to make informed decisions and drive cost-effective operations.
- Product Roadmap Leadership:
- Define and communicate the strategic product roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product development and delivery.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on market research, user feedback, and competitive analysis.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide training and development opportunities.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience in business development, product management, and P&L management, preferably in the Investment or fintech industry.
- Proven track record of incubating and launching successful products.
- Deep understanding of financial technology, Investment markets, and industry trends.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
