Key Responsibilities:

The Social Impact and Sustainability Specialist (Local Partnership) post holder will be generating significant financial contributions from Indonesian and multinational corporations and retails to support WVIDN's programmes by maintain relationship with donors and providing quality assurance in reporting and effective project management cycle to ensure adequate funding obtained for programming from diversified sources.

The Social Impact and Sustainability Specialist (Local Partnership) will be responsible for carrying out the end-to-end process of funding acquisition (pre-award) and project management (post award) for projects sponsored by local corporate and retails, local foundations and State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). This position is also responsible for building sustainable social impact collaboration with local stakeholders through community development projects/programs (including Humanitarian Emergency Response).

Required Professional Experience

  • Min. 2 years' progressive experience in fundraising, business, marketing or project management.
  • Min. of 23 years of work experiences on similar positions or fields (Local Grant Acquisition Management, Donor Portfolio, Proposal Development, Corporate Social Responsibility/CSR, ESG Management, Sustainability Development Goals, Cause-Related Marketing, Social Impact and Sustainability, Corporate Partnership, Philanthropy Partnership, Social Business Development, Public/Private Sector Engagement, etc).
  • Responsive, mature and independent mindset, able to work smart and effectively.
  • Able work independently but also flexible working as a team.
  • Strong commercial orientation with discerning interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent proposal writing and editing skills in English.

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification


Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited university in Social Development, Social Welfare/Work, Communication, Management, Business, or other related social sciences.


Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Financial Business Partnering: Service oriented, customer focused approach.
  • Have a basic understanding of SDGs, ESG, CSR, CSV, Impact Investment, Impact Reporting, SROI, or similar (having relevant certificates will be a plus).
  • Have the ability to write and or design social project proposals (templatebased and creative visual proposals).
  • Have good communication and negotiation skills (donor pitching, donor engagement and presentation)
  • Able to lead and collaborate across units and departments to develop ideas and concepts for projects or programs (Social Impact and Sustainability).
