PT. Sinotrans Overseas Indonesia is looking for a dedicated Logistics Staff to join our team in Medan, North Sumatra. This role is perfect for someone ready to handle the complexities of project logistics within a dynamic freight forwarding environment.

Responsibilities: As a Logistics Staff professional, your key responsibilities will include:
Managing Import and Export Documentation: Prepare, process, and ensure compliance of all necessary documents for import and export shipments, including customs declarations, bills of lading, packing lists, and commercial invoices.

Coordinating Field Operations: Oversee and execute on-ground logistics activities for both import and export, ensuring smooth movement of goods. This includes liaising with warehouses, ports, airports, and transport providers.

Shipment Escort and Delivery: Accompany and monitor shipments from origin to final customer sites, ensuring safe and timely delivery, especially for critical or oversized cargo.

Supplier and Vendor Management: Coordinate with various service providers such as carriers, customs brokers, trucking companies, and warehouses to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, delays, or discrepancies that may arise during the logistics process.

Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and provide regular updates and reports on shipment status and operational performance.

Compliance Adherence: Ensure all logistics activities comply with local and international regulations, including customs laws and safety standards.

Cost Control: Monitor and manage operational costs related to logistics activities, seeking efficiencies where possible.

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in import and export documentation and field operations, preferably within a freight forwarding or logistics company.

Intermediate English proficiency (both written and verbal).

Proficient in Mandarin (speaking, reading, writing) for daily conversation.

Currently domiciled in Medan and/or North Sumatra.

**Willingness to work under an outsourcing employment status.
