**Job Overview**
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving DataOn’s international business growth by identifying new enterprise opportunities, engaging C-level stakeholders, building strategic partnerships, and conducting in-depth market research. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship management, and hands-on execution.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with enterprise clients and strategic partners, locally and internationally,
- Build strong relationships and engage directly with top-level management (CEOs, CIOs, CHROs, etc.) to understand business needs and position DataOn’s solutions,
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitive movements, and potential sectors for expansion,
- Represent DataOn in networking events, industry conferences, and executive meetings to build visibility and pipeline,
- Develop compelling business proposals, pitch decks, and executive-level presentations,
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Solutions, etc.) to deliver customized client solutions,
- Manage and track all business development activities in the CRM system and report on performance metrics,
- Support contract negotiation and partner onboarding processes,
- Provide strategic input for international market entry strategies and expansion plans.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field (MBA is a plus),
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in B2B business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships—preferably in the tech or SaaS sector,
- Proven experience in engaging and negotiating with senior-level executives and enterprise decision-makers,
- Strong knowledge of enterprise sales cycles, solution-based selling, and partner development,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in English and Bahasa Indonesia,
- Analytical and research-driven, with the ability to identify trends and generate actionable insights,
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and drive to meet ambitious targets,
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and modern business development platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator),
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is a must,
- Willingness to travel as needed for business meetings and industry events.
**Preferred Experience**
- Experience in HR tech, enterprise software, or cloud-based SaaS solutions,
- Existing network in relevant industries (e.g., manufacturing, financial services, logistics, etc.),
- International business development exposure, particularly in Southeast Asia or the Asia-Pacific region.
