Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a world leading provider of the technology and the services required to seamlessly plan and manage mining operations. With experience for over 40 years where our client has worked in partnership with the mining industry to provide an unrivalled range of solutions across the mining value chain. Their customers are in over 100 countries, and they are serviced from our client local offices in over 20 countries.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement functionality in C#, C++, and Python.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate intelligent workflows and automation.
  • Work with global subject matter experts to develop innovative features adopted by thousands of customers.
  • Fix prioritized defects identified by QA and contribute to ongoing quality improvements.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers to build their technical capability.
  • Contribute to cross-language API integration between the C++ backend, C# frontend, and Python scripting.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and integrity of all data.

Job Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, C++, and Python.
  • Proven experience developing desktop software products.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Experience with application performance tuning and profiling.
  • Strong understanding of version control, Agile/Scrum, and the full SDLC.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global team.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and passionate about excellence in software engineering

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with AI, machine learning, or data-driven automation is a big plus.
  •  
    Strong mathematical and algorithmic problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with 3D graphics, computational geometry, or engineering/scientific software.
  • Familiarity with mining software or the resources industry.
