Role Description

The
Supervisor of Accounting & Tax
will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes and full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations. You will lead the accounting team in managing daily transactions, reviewing financial reports, preparing tax submissions, and ensuring timely month-end and year-end closings. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise and guide the team while working closely with auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Supervise daily accounting activities including AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and documentation.
  • Review journal entries, financial transactions, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax obligations (PPh 21/23/25/4(2), PPN, SPT Masa & Tahunan).
  • Review and validate e-Faktur, e-Bupot, Coretax inputs, and tax reconciliation reports.
  • Ensure proper use, accuracy, and timeliness of all submissions through Coretax for tax compliance.
  • Stay updated on the latest tax regulations and ensure all company processes comply.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities when needed.
  • Support budgeting activities, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to strengthen financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and supervision to junior accounting and tax staff.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency within the finance function.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in construction or project-based industries.
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required to communicate effectively.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh 21/23/25/4(2), PPN) and tax reporting processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Coretax including e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and SPT submissions.
  • Skilled in financial reporting, general ledger management, journal entries, and period-end closing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Accurate, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory capability to guide the finance team.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
