What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and executing innovative pastry recipes and dessert menus
  2. Overseeing the daily pastry production to ensure consistent, high-quality output
  3. Collaborating with the Head Chef to align pastry offerings with the overall restaurant concept and flavour profiles
  4. Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen
  5. Mentoring and training junior pastry team members
  6. Researching industry trends and implementing new techniques and flavours

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years' experience as a CDP Pastry or similar role in a high-quality restaurant or hospitality environment
  2. Formal culinary training or qualifications in baking and pastry
  3. Exceptional baking and pastry skills, with a keen eye for presentation and detail
  4. Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a fast-paced kitchen
  5. Passion for using high-quality, seasonal ingredients to create innovative desserts
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the wider culinary team
